Home Health Aide

Home Health Aide We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide to provide personalized care for an adult male with quadriplegia (paralysis from the shoulders down). This role involves assisting with daily living activities and supporting the client in maintaining an active and fulfilling lifestyle. Key Responsibilities: Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean living environment Prepare meals and assist with feeding Accompany client to appointments, social events, and recreational activities Support and encourage participation in hobbies and both indoor and outdoor activities Assist with transportation and may accompany client on occasional trips Communicate effectively with and provide support to family members as appropriate Qualifications: No prior experience required; training will be provided Strong communication skills and ability to speak fluent English Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor Ability to follow instructions and adapt to the client’s needs Compensation & Schedule: Starting pay: $23.00/hour, increasing to $25.50/hour upon completion of training Full-time position Schedule and shift details to be discussed Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $25.50 per hour Work Location: In person
